A little bit about me

Hello, hello! I’m so excited you’re here!

If you’re new here, I’m Lauren.

I have been in the hair industry for 15+ years now *shocked face, where did the time go!*

I started in a well known commission salon in my hometown and in my first year I had my son (my premie miracle🤍). I quickly realize that I needed flexibility and I became may own boss and rented a salon suite. I jumped in both feet first (I think I was still delusional from the sleepless nights as a new mommy) but it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Since then I have owned a few salons and barbershops, learning the ins and outs of the industry, and then in 2022 I decided to move across the country with my son to Colorado! 

I went back and forth for awhile between Ohio and Colorado working with clients (and still sometimes do!) but I have recently found my Colorado salon home in North Colorado Springs. 

I work out of a salon called DM Beauty and I am surrounded by a great group of women who all offer amazing beauty and self care services ranging from lash extensions, to permanent makeup,  tattoos and permanent jewelry.  

Hair extensions are my specialty and hands down, there is no better feeling than helping women add fullness when their hair is thinning or doing a major transformation and seeing the before + afters.

In addition to doing hair behind the chair, I started an app for independent creatives, specifically independents in the beauty and wellness industry, to automate their bookkeeping, budgets and business finances so they get to stay in their creative space! You can check out the app here. Along side the app we have built a boutique financial firm specifically curated for beauty pros to handle all things business finance and help pros pay the least amount of taxes legally. New Client Inquiries     

When I am not in the salon or working on the app and the firm you’ll find me hanging out with my son,  golfing, snuggling with my puppy watching movies,  and planning all the places I want to travel! *Italy 2025. is officially in the books!*
